Ellen Gulson, IBCLC

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant

Welcome Mums, Mums-to-be and your amazing supporters.

My name is Ellen Gulson and I am a Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 5 years experience supporting breastfeeding mothers and their families. I work primarily out of General Practice at Coogee Beach Doctors in the East and Sydney Women’s Wellness at Greenwich in the North. This is because I believe Lactation support should be a part of a multidisciplinary team supporting mothers, babies and their families to achieve the best health outcomes. I also see patients in the comfort of their own home when coming into clinic is more appropriate.

Being surrounded by some of the most wonderful female General Practitioners I have ever had the pleasure to know, allows me to quickly and effectively respond to medical issues that arise in the course of Breastfeeding, as well as form a part of the team seeing you and your baby for antenatal, shared care, postnatal and immunization appointments as needed.

I am a passionate advocate for women’s health.

I truly believe that women and babies deserve better support when they are starting out on their breastfeeding journey and as challenges arise along the way. I would be honoured if you would consider me as a part of your support network to achieve your feeding goals.

“As a first time mum it can be really daunting learning to breastfeed and wondering if you're doing it right. Ellen instantly makes you feel at ease and is a wealth of knowledge on all things motherhood - but especially breastfeeding. Her advice made a huge difference to my breastfeeding journey.“
